Pickens Hall is home to all new freshmen that are required to live on campus and employs a complete staff of upperclassmen Resident Assistants to help make the journey into the new experience an enjoyable one. Residence Hall safety is of utmost importance at Glenville State College, and a security system is installed to help ensure that the residents have a safe living/learning environment. All rooms have a television cable connection, high speed internet access and a microwave and refrigerator.

Pickens Hall is a single building, but has three different wings. All three wings, Wagner, Williams, and Scott, have high-speed Internet connections in each room.

Wagner Wing

Wagner Wing is a corridor style facility containing 6 floors and incorporating 16 rooms per floor. There are laundry and kitchen facilities located on each floor. Housed on floors 1 through 3 are female students and floors 4 through 6 are male students.

Williams Wing

Williams Wing is also a corridor style facility. There are 5 floors with 14 rooms on each floor. The laundry and kitchen facilities are located in the basement and easily accessible by the elevator. The Pickens Hall main lounge is located on the 1st floor. Female students reside on floors 1 through 3. Floors 4 through 6 are where male students reside.

Scott Wing

Scott Wing is a suite style wing with 6 floors with 4 suites per floor. Each suite contains 4 rooms and a single bathroom. Scott Wing laundry facilities are located on the 4th floor. It also has a study lounge on the 1st floor and a gaming lounge on the 5th floor. Floors 1 through 3 house female students and floors 4 through 6 house male students.

Scott Wing Apartments

Scott Wing also has apartments at the end of each floor. Married housing can be found in those apartments. Each apartment has a living room, bathroom, bedroom, and a small kitchen.
