Mission Statement
The Glenville State College Foundation, Inc. is single focused on the raising of funds from non-state sources to assist Glenville State College in reaching its mission. We achieve that goal through actively soliciting funds through our Annual Fund, Scholarship Endowments and monies from larger foundations. These monies are then awarded to deserving students through annual scholarships and academic awards.

Annual Fund
Once per year a mailing is delivered to over 11,000 alumni and past donors. We ask for their help in meeting our operating expenses and supporting our scholarship mission. This Annual Fund request is not only an important source of income for the Foundation, but is a link to the thousands of individuals and corporations that can identify with our mission.

Endowed Scholarships
Many alumni and other interested individuals and corporations establish endowed scholarships to provide financial support for the students that come to Glenville State in search of a start to their careers. These endowments are invested by the Foundation under the guidance of the Finance Committee with financial advisors. The income of these endowments is spent to award scholarships while the principal of the fund remains intact.
